The HyperDeck Studio HD Pro is a professional broadcast recorder and player designed for live productions and audiovisual events. It records and plays back video directly from SD cards, 2.5" SSDs or USB-C storage devices, while supporting professional codecs including Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHD/DNxHR and H.264. Its reliability, ease of use and compatibility with SDI infrastructures make it an ideal solution for conferences, concerts, TV studios, streaming productions and multi-camera recordings.
The HyperDeck Studio HD Pro can be used as a programme recorder, media player, backup recorder or playback server for countdowns, holding slides, motion graphics and branded content. Its tape-deck-inspired interface combined with modern file-based recording integrates seamlessly into professional broadcast and live event workflows.
The HyperDeck Studio HD Pro supports SD, HD, 2K DCI, Ultra HD and 4K DCI formats up to 2160p30. It records in Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHD, DNxHR and 10-bit 4:2:2 H.264, allowing users to balance image quality and file size according to production requirements.
Combining the familiar workflow of traditional broadcast VTRs with the advantages of digital recording, the HyperDeck Studio HD Pro features dual SSD bays, dual SD card slots, USB-C external recording, a precision-machined jog/shuttle wheel, Genlock and Timecode connections, plus Ethernet control. It provides a complete solution for both professional recording and playback applications.
