Barco | S3 Tri-Combo Gen 2

The Barco S3 Tri-Combo Gen 2 is a high-end presentation processor from the Event Master family, designed for productions requiring advanced management of video sources, LED walls, projectors and multi-screen displays. It delivers 4K60 processing, 10-bit image quality, seamless transitions and modular architecture that can be configured to suit virtually any production. Housed in a compact 3U chassis, it is a reference solution for conferences, conventions, live shows, corporate events and broadcast productions.

In its Tri-Combo Gen 2 configuration, the S3 is equipped with three input cards and three output cards. It supports up to 14 Full HD inputs, 5x 4K60 inputs, 14 Full HD outputs, 12 outputs in 4K30 or 6 outputs in 4K60, depending on the selected resolution and installed card configuration. This modular architecture allows the system to be optimized for each event.

The Live Effects Canvas represents the processor's available graphics processing capacity. The S3 Tri-Combo Gen 2 provides up to 20 megapixels in Preview/Program mode, or 40 megapixels in Program Only mode, enabling multiple displays, video layers, backgrounds, keys and effects to be processed simultaneously with exceptional fluidity. This capability is particularly valuable for large LED walls and complex stage designs.

The S3 Tri-Combo Gen 2 shares the complete Event Master ecosystem with the E2 Gen 2, including Event Master Toolset software, advanced layering, screen management, presets and API integration, but in a more compact chassis with lower processing capacity. It is an ideal solution for medium-sized productions while remaining fully compatible with other Event Master processors through chassis-linking capabilities.
