Frequently asked questions
The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO enables high-quality multi-camera productions with eight HDMI inputs, an integrated live streaming engine, simultaneous recording of both the program output and each individual camera feed (ISO), plus automatic generation of a DaVinci Resolve project. It is an ideal solution for conferences, concerts, webinars, hybrid events and professional audiovisual productions requiring maximum flexibility during post-production.
ISO recording captures each of the eight HDMI inputs independently while simultaneously recording the final program output. At the same time, the switcher automatically generates a DaVinci Resolve project containing every cut, transition and source change performed during the live production. This allows editors to completely rework the production afterwards without starting from scratch.
Compared with the ATEM Mini Pro, the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO doubles the number of HDMI inputs to eight, features two independent HDMI outputs, two USB-C ports, a multiview supporting up to sixteen windows, four advanced chroma keyers, SuperSource, two media players and, most importantly, ISO recording for every input. These additional capabilities make it perfectly suited to more demanding multi-camera productions.
Yes. The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO can broadcast a live stream via its integrated RTMP streaming engine while simultaneously recording both the program output and all ISO feeds to an external USB-C storage device. This combination provides maximum production security while significantly simplifying post-production workflows.
