The d&b Y7P is a high-performance point source loudspeaker designed for applications requiring tighter coverage and greater throw than the Y10P. With its 75° × 40° dispersion pattern, high output capability and exceptional vocal intelligibility, it is perfectly suited for conferences, concerts, corporate events, theatres and front-of-house reinforcement.

The primary difference lies in the coverage pattern. The Y7P offers a narrower 75° × 40° dispersion, whereas the Y10P provides a wider 110° × 40° coverage. The Y7P is therefore better suited to deeper venues, focused audience areas and applications requiring increased projection.

Yes. Thanks to its frequency response extending down to 59 Hz (-5 dB), the Y7P can be used as a full-range loudspeaker for speech reinforcement and lighter musical applications. For concerts and full-range music reproduction, it is commonly paired with Y-SUB, V-SUB or B2-SUB subwoofers.

The Y7P is widely used for premium conferences, concerts, corporate events, theatres, houses of worship and applications requiring outstanding speech intelligibility. It can also serve as a main PA for small to medium audiences or as a fill loudspeaker within larger d&b systems.
